DC has granted extended hours to some of the hottest spots in the city during the week of Inauguration.
Extended Drinking Hours
We were hitting our usual spots in DC on Monday night – Heist and Eden – and completely forgot that the DC Bar and Nightlife industry was granted extended hours during the week of The Inauguration.
Yes, we took advantage 
Normally needing to stop serving by 1:45am on weekdays and 2:45am on weekends / holiday nights, DC’s Alcoholic Beverage Regulation Administration (ABRA) granted 4am drinking hours to virtually all venues that applied for the extension. The approval also grants venues permission to stay open 24×7, though liquor can only be served from 11:00am – 4:00am for the duration.
